The advertisement that i have chosen is called Midnight Poison, followed by the company Dior. The product of this advertisement is a perfume bottle.
The advert has been set with a female modeler wearing a dark blue dress posing inside a bright crystal room with broken mirrors flashing across the room in the middle of the night.
The modeler uses different facial expression while shes posing, (one half of the scene is when she's scary, the other half is when she's smiling for some certain reason).Due to this might be first reason why this realates to the advert title. The attraction of her facial expression is when she uses a suprising, terrifying vampire looks towards the audience. Most public might find this modaler glamerous. The campaigner uses this image because of the word "Midnight Poison" represents something frightning and grusome. The soundtrack tension is dramatic but gently smooth. This might be one way to persuade the audience to buy this product because of the music.
The location has been set inside a single room with flashing lights and broken peices of tiny glasses raining on the modeler. She then rans into a big posh palace and decides to play around with formal public, (looks more like papparazzi's).
The narrative of this advert starts of with a women posing in a long dark blue expenssive dress while the time in the clock is ticking from 1 hour to another hour. She rushes upstairs to get inside the hall and entertain herself while the whole nation watches her. The clock then breaks into small pieces. The story ends with an appearence of a beuty blue bottle called Midnight Poison. The decoration of the bottle is plain blue with a pump to bring the liquid spray out. This is another reason why campaigners advertise this on audience television because of the decoration thats been plotted on the bottle.
The garment thats been worn on the modeler is a long blue maxidress. The director chooses this to attract the audience to buy this product because of the costume.
The colour scheme of the dress (blue) connotating danger and horror. This might represent the logo name "Midnight Poison" which explains to the audience that blue can represents danger.
In the begining of the story, the camera angle starts of with a close up. Then the angles move to different directions (close up, bottom angle, top angle). The camera angles moves very quickly.
The apropriete age and gender for this product will defently inspire females aged 18 and above. The ethnicity for this product can be releated to any ethnicity. The campaigners who directs this product makes alot of money because this product is based on more than one ethnicity.
This product is mainly been placed in womens store shops (boots, superdrugs). Campaingers does this so women can find it more easier to buy the product if they had this perfume in a women small shops.
